Q:Why become a Nerdbucket.com member?
A:Simple: as more games are created, many of them are going to require a login in order to store persistent data, or to allow users to interact in a more multi-player environment. Without a login, you won't be able to experience any of this.
Q:What do I have to do to get a login?
A:Simply register. There's no cost associated for getting a login, and the only thing you have to tell me is your email address, which I promise will not ever be sold, rented, leased, or otherwise distributed. If you're okay with that, then becoming a member should be no problem.
Q:Is membership free forever, or are you going to suddenly start charging someday?
A:Membership to the site will always be free. Certain games may eventually carry a cost of their own, but basic membership will always be free. Any games that are likely to get a pricetag will be noted in the games list so that it won't come as a shock if/when the game stops being free.
Q:I've registered and received a password, but every time I try to login, it takes me back to the page I was previously on. I can't access [XXX] no matter what I do!
A:First, the login is supposed to redirect you to the page you were previously on, this is expected behaviour.

Second, the redirection is supposed to happen after setting a cookie. When the cookie is set properly, the website will add a section to the navigation bar that shows your username in blue, and the "Log In" link will change to say "Log Out". If this is not happening, chances are good that your cookies are disabled or blocked for some reason.

You will have to check your browser's settings to determing if you have cookies disabled or not. Different browsers do this differently, and I am not going to even try to explain the process. If you don't know what to look for, you shouldn't mess with anything! Incorrect browser settings can really make things difficult.
